UN WOMEN Organizes a two-days workshop in Erbil to follow up on the implementation of the KRG NAP 1325

UNWomen and the High Council of Women and Development HCWD in Kurdistan partnered to bring together ministries and civil society organizations to identify their roles and activities in the implementation of the KRG National Action Plan for UNSCR1325 under Pillar “1” and “3”.
The 2-day workshop was attended by Dr. Khanzad Ahmad— Secretary General of the HCWD and more than 30 Civil society organizations and 20 ministries and non-ministerial entities. This was supported through the government of Finland and Sweden.
