Baghdad Women Association psychologically supports women and girls in Kabarto area for internally displaced persons

Consider that Psychosocial support is a necessary service for women who have been subjected to gender-based violence. Baghdad Women Association provided psychosocial support and protection services for women and girls in IDPs Kabarto 1-2 camps. And Doumez 1 for Syrian refugees. On the 7th of August 2022.

The aim of the Psychosocial Support Service is to guide and listen to women and girls, for the purpose of mitigating the negative consequences that have affected their lives, as a result of violence.

This service continues to ensure that women can deal with violence if they expose it, in addition, to help other women and reporting cases to reach them and providing them with the necessary services.

This activity was done under the project the Women Peace and Security in the Arab states _Phase ll, in partnership with UN WOMEN and support of the government of Finland.
