Launch of 1325 National Action Plan for Kurdistan in Erbil
Today marked the launch of the 1325 National Action Plan for Kurdistan in Erbil, Iraq by the High Council of Women and Development sponsored by the federal government, Ministry of Interior (MOI), and in partnership with civil society organizations and UNWomen. Partners and donors were invited to attend this event which coincided with the 16 days of activism. A panelists session was organized and included representatives from the Federal government, KRI, civil society and UNWomen where they shared their ongoing work, plans, challenges, and the way forward for the NAP.This event was supported by the government of Sweden and Finland.
