The High Council of Women Affairs in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, in partnership with UN Women in Iraq organized a workshop in Erbil on 3 October 2021 involved participants from KRI ministries and government entities to present and discuss the implementation mechanism and priorities activities implementation for the National Action Plan under UNSCR 1325, 2021-2024. The workshop discussion’s focused on KRI NAP II and designing a plan of action for ministries and governmental institution in line with UNSCR1325. This workshop is part of series of events that will be conducted under Women, Peace and Security project phase II funded by Government of Finland & Government of Sweden.
