Women’s Empowerment for Peacebuilding Organization WEPO conducted 6 discussion sessions in Duhok, Ninawa for humanitarian aid workers, teachers, government employees and community leaders to raise awareness on the challenges faced by women in politics and support women’s political participation and engagement in decision making processes. This was done under project “ Women’s meaningful participation in conflict prevention through formation of women coalition of women’s CSOs and NGOs” funded by WPHF and in partnership with UNWomen.
