BWA supports small projects in Sharia camp in Dohuk

Baghdad Women Association in partnership with UNWomen, and with the support of Finland, has provided small grants services to GBV women and girls to support them to establish seven small projects as cosmetics, clothes, handcrafts, and mini markets.

These projects were established in Sharia camp, Sharia, and Domiz in Dohuk governorate within the Women, Peace and Security in the Arab States Project.The WPS Finland phase ll project aims to empower women and girls economically for the purpose of having a steady source of income to support their families and to improve their life conditions.
